first, some background. i haven't read 'teh book'; but i've read a lot about GTD.
i';ve tried to 'install' the inbox+incubate+reference+somedaymaybe structure on my bookmarks first. but i found myself instinctively routing bookmarks into two functional categories: quick capture (google bookmarks through google toolbar, just click the star) and not-so-quick capture ( del.icio.us through ctrl-d).
i've found out that i'll use the 'quick' bookmarks more frequently than the del.icio.us ones.

this two-pronged categorization also crept into my google reader: 'Star&#39; for the complete posts, which require longer reading and surely be processed into my ClipMarks; and 'Share' for those short, link-to-something-else posts that can be read quickly.
then, every once in awhile (no fixed schedule), i sift through my 'Shared' posts, read the links (which may find their way into 2-pronged bookmarks), and decide if they'll remain marked as shared (might look good on my blog, or is it something i really want to share) or unshared.
The starred ones are ClipMark or blog post material. i haven't processed those in a (big) while.

and "this star-no star" also took over my gmail inbox.

all this rambling comes to this:
1) i'd like to have more categories at my fingertips. is there a keyboard shortcut or something for tagging a bookmark, RSS post of e-mail right away; and then retrieving it easily for processing?

2) any ideas, thoughts, critiques?
