I am having an unusual problem. I have been using Avast antivirus along
with an antispyware program. I run these frequently. I also use Eudora
Pro email program. IN the last week or so my Avast has been telling me
that I am exceeding the alloted emails in a time period , so I go the
the outgoing scan protection on Avast and it appears that there are
hundreds of emails outgoing, but from another email, to another email.
OK, so I assume that I am infected, so I have scanned and scanned and
scanned, and have removed anything that I can find. I have even scanned
with NOrton. So, the messages from Avast continue. I am not sure if
this is really an Avast problem, or my computer is still infected. If
so, none of the scanning programs seem to be picking this up. Anybody
have any ideas??? OH, I am running windows XP and I did turn off the
restore before scanning.

What is the AntiSpyware Program, and see if it is scanning your E-mail along with Avast. If it is Disable one of them. Meanwhile, I hope that you are only running one AntiVirus Program! Now, if you are running more than one AntiVirus Program, you will have to Uninstall your least favorite.
