Hellp with a wps file

I was sent something as an info.wps file and can not open it. Can
anyone help. I even downloaded Microsoft Works.

It [wps] is WorPerfect! Try opening it in Word Perfect.

My mistake! It is Microsoft Works. Try this.
How to open a Works 6.0, a Works 7.0, a Works 8.0, or a Works 9.0 word
processing document in Word
Use the format (.wps) for a Works word processing file.
