Developer to join the team creating our flagship software
product, WebCTRL. WebCTRL is a user-friendly and powerful
web application used to automate buildings worldwide. We
work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that has
consistently created innovative solutions. 

Automated Logic Corporation, a division of Carrier
Electronics, provides cost-effective, user friendly building
control solutions for thousands of customers. 
Carrier Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies
Corporation (NYSE:UTX), is the world's largest solutions
provider of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration
equipment for commercial, residential and transportation
applications. 

We are looking for someone with strong design skills who can
be passionate about developing a quality, user-friendly web
application. You will be working with a wide range of J2EE,
XML, and Web technologies and will have an opportunity to
utilize and contribute to the open source community. 

Primary responsibilities include:
Developing, maintaining, and testing WebCTRL's Web-based
user interface. 
Developing software using Java, XSL, JavaScript, or other
tools as appropriate
Debugging and resolving problems identified by other team
members, testers, or tech support. 
Developing and conducting usability tests of WebCTRL
Developing architectures used by others on the team
Serving as technical lead for new feature development

Required Skills:
BA/BS degree w/6-10+ years applicable experience or MA/MS
degree w/4-7+ years applicable experience. Experience
developing Java based Web Applications using Java Servlets
and JSP, with solid Java programming skills, good
object-oriented design skills and an extensive knowledge of
HTML. 

Other Important Skills include:  
XML/XSL, HTTP, JavaScript, CSS, Usability Training, Good
organizational skills, and attention to detail.


Non-Tech Skills:
Good verbal communication skills, good organizational and
time management skills.
