Job Description:

Our client located in Alpharetta is looking to build a team
of experienced J2EE developers to support and develop new
functionality for its financial application product.
Candidates will combine strong experience in developing J2EE
solutions with a deep understanding of common open source
frameworks (such as Hibernate, Java Server Faces, Spring),
and a strong understanding of programming algorithms and
protocols. Ideal candidates will have experience with high
volume message queuing and relational databases.
Responsibilites include:
deep understanding of J2EE including knowledge of EJBs, JSP,
XML parsing and manipulation, JMS/MQSeries messaging, thread
management, application server platforms, and resource
caching.
Display a thorough understanding of relational database
technologies including SQL, JDBC, and normalization.
• Exhibit proficiency with development tools such as
Eclipse, JBOSS, and Oracle. Candidate must be proficient in
configuring a standard J2EE application container and must
be able to quickly familiarize themselves with the
application environment.
• Thoroughly develop, review, and test code to ensure
proper performance. Candidate must have experience working
in high-volume processing or user environments where
scalability is a primary concern.
• Develop solutions that incorporate industry best
practices for J2EE application design, transaction
processing, and data security.
• Candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal
communication. Ability to discuss business requirements and
articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms is an
absolute necessity. Ability to interact openly and
professionally with business and testing teams is a must.
This is a contract to hire position and sponsorship is not
available so US Citizen/Green Card holders only.

• Internet-based financial services experience preferred
Developers with similar skillsets/less experience will be
considered for mid/jr roles
Desired Skills:
Hibernate is required for sr, optional for mid/jr roles
Non-Tech Skills:
excellent written/oral communication skills
