The right person for this role will be joining an existing
team of approximately five developers. This team is
responsible for customer facing websites that engage a third
party application to resource specific requirements.
Modeling several customer facing websites currently
available, a new website will be created with similar
intentions (one project example). This is your opportunity
to become a senior level programmer while learning valuable
new technology along the way. For example, the potential
exists to migrate into projects that employ Spring,
Hibernate, and Adobe Flex. Prove yourself here and you can
be successful anywhere.
Required Skills:
Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JavaScript, JDBC, XML,
Oracle/SQL, commercial IDE (Eclipse, Websphere, Weblogic,
NetBeans, etc) and having previously worked in a large web
application development environment for a minimum of 1 to 2
years.
Desired Skills:
EJB, Tiles, AJAX, Flash, PLSQL, Database Query
optimization/tuning.
Bonus Skills:
Hibernate, Spring
To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate the
ability to juggle several tasks at once while maintaining
your resolve to the overall goal. This group is routinely
required to shift priority so the candidate should have that
capability and flexibility. Application performance is
critical so any experience in this area is preferred. There
will be limited mentoring available so the candidate must
have the ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running
after a brief ramp up period (approximately three weeks).
