TMP files not deleting

and search for "mail being stuck in a MTA
queue".
You should really look into what your amavisd-nanny says,
and check the log (at increased log level if necessary)
to see what was the last operation by a child process
that encountered a problem.

You could also move amavisd queue to a ramdisk so it won't
fill up
your filesystem.
