hopefully
also a more detailed info. Perhaps is started as 'amavisd
debug'
it may tell more during startup about the reason for
failing.

The error message include something about line 11130 in
amavisd.

I think I'll stay with the old version of amavisd for now.
After upgrading all the perl modules the newest amavisd was
still giving me the error message. 
 
I put back the old version but mail stopped coming in. It
took me hours to find that the newest Net::Server version
was causing the problem. I'm still shell-shocked from
staying up all night in terror.

After you get a good night's sleep, please provide the full
diagnostic
you received. The 'something about line 11130' is not very
helpful.
