Hi all,

I'm new to the list and believe me, I did my homework before
posting 

Our scenario looks like this:

    RHEL 5.1
    Perl 5.8.8
    amavisd-new-2.5.4-1.el5.rf
    spamassassin-3.2.4-1.el5.rf
    clamav-db-0.90.3-1
    clamav-server-0.90.3-1
    clamav-0.90.3-1
    MySQL 5.0.22
    Cyrus IMAP 2.3.7
    Postfix 2.3.3-2

so far, so good...

Everything was working just fine but it suddenly stopped.
Now emails are 
being queued but not delivered at all...

These are some excerpts from the /var/log/maillog file:

Unfortunately I couldn't find anything related to that on
the archives...

Could someone please shed some light?? This is a production
email server 
and ... well, you know the rest...

Maybe I'm overseeing something obvious...

Hi,

I am running a similar setup with sendmail on CentOS5, which
is almost the 
same as RHEL5.1

However I am not using clamscan but the daemonized version
clamd, and that 
has worked very well so far. You just have to make sure that
the users 
running amavisd and clamd are the same.

clamav has a much newer version than the one you are using,
which might be 
the reason.
