meeting information.

1. Meeting program
------------------
The APNIC 23 program has been finalised, with sessions
covering issues such
as the IPv4 countdown proposal and discussion of member fee
schedules.

Six policy proposals will be discussed during the Policy
SIG, details of
which can be found here:

You are invited to participate in this policy decision
process via the
designated mailing lists and during discussions at APNIC 23
either in
person or online.
2. Visitor information
----------------------
Please be aware that visas may be required from some nations
to enter
Indonesia. To avoid last minute frustrations, we strongly
recommend that
meeting delegates arrange all visa applications, flight, and
accommodation
bookings now. All the delegates are also recommended to
travel with the
invitation letter issued by the local host for possible
Indonesian Customs
inquiries on arrivals.
The invitation letter can be obtained by requesting via
meeting registration.
If you have any problems obtaining the letter, please send
your request to
meetings apnic.net .

3. APNIC Executive Council (EC) Election nomination
----------------------------------------------------
Four positions on the EC will become vacant in March 2007.
An open election
to fill these vacancies will be held at APNIC 23 on Friday 2
March 2007.
Nominations should be submitted by close of business Friday
16 February 2007
at the latest.

4. Meeting sponsorship

5. Opening reception
------------------------------
All APNIC members and friends are invited to attend the
Opening reception at
Jungle Pub, Melia Bali. This reception will provide the
participants a good
opportunity for mingling and networking with your associates
and new friends.
This Reception is free of charge, however places are
limited. A ticket to
participate is essential. To obtain a ticket, you must go to
the APNIC Member
Service Lounge by 27 February with your registration details
and receipt for
validation.
