I'm not sure it's possible, but it would be great if there
is some way
to load a mobile control on a regular ASP.NET web page.
I have controls inheriting from MobileControl. If the
control only
contains regular tags like a <br/> tag, it's possible
to load it into
a table cell. However, if the control contains a mobile tag
such as
<mobile:image> I get the error that such a control or
tag can only be
loaded into a MobilePage.
So is there any good ways to force the control to load into
a
System.Web.UI.Page?
I'm loading it into a cell in a custom gridview...
Error message is:
"MobileControl must be contained within a MobilePage:
ASP.default_aspx" when trying to run last line:
MobileControl _modulePreview =
(MobileControl)Page.LoadControl(e.Row.Cells[3].Text.ToString
());
e.Row.Cells[3].Controls.Add(_modulePreview);
Hope anyone knows about this..
(You may ask why one would want to load a mobile control in
a page
like that, and the answer is that I create mobile modules
that needs
to be administrated from a web-based GUI.)
