HI

This is Raj.
I'm stuck on a web page which should scan finger print of
user and
store it in MSSQL database.
I'm quite new to ASP.net.
Can someone please help me as to how should i move forward
with this??
i.e.how can a finger print be captured to a webpage and then
be stored
to DB.
In the future it may be required to compare these
fingerprints for
authentication also.
Is there a way out???

    Hi Raj, 

If you are using scanner, then the ofcourse the finger print will be stored as an image file, i.e a jpeg or gif file. You can store tht image into the database directly or store the image path ( the directory where image is stored) in the database.

it may be captured information by activex control ,then
parse the
infomation by javascript ,at last you can post to the
server
