Hi,
I currently upgraded my Operating System from WindowsXP
Service Pack 1 to
WindowsXP Service Pack 2. But the problem is now I am not
able to run or
create any ASP.NET applications on it. Whenever I tried to
run any
application it says that it cannot find or connect to the
server and the
port number it gives is 80. Can anyone tell me how to fix
this?

I think whenever a new service pack is installed all
unnecessary
services get shut down and you have to manualy enable them.
Anyway try:

open up your control panel/administrative tools/internet
information
services
fire that up and check what's going on with your server.
open all bars
and make sure everything is running (by looking at the
little video
controls on top.) Everything should be set to play.

if that doesn't work or you do not have that particular
icon, go to
Add/Remove programs, and select Windows Components on the
left side. On
the newly opened window scroll down to Internet Managment or
Internet,
or IIS. Click customize and make sure you have frontpage
extensions and
iis installed. After the installation you should be able to
do the
first thing.

Let me know how it goes!
