I suppose I could. But what would be
the fun in that

Don't you just want to go to those sites
and take manual screen-shots, then reduce them and include them as images
in your pages?
You certainly wouldn't want to try to do
this dynamically. It would just take too long.

Bummer. I have finally (after all these years) gotten around to start
building my own personal site (www.SorenWinslow.com)
and thought it would be cool to add screen shots of sites on my "web
sites" page instead of just links and descriptions.

Not a chance in hell without a component. You can capture a webpage
using
cdo and include it in an email as html, but thats about it. Unless
you have
access to reporting services 2005?

Does anyone know how to take a live snapshot (screenshot) of a URL,
then save it as an image?
I tried to Google it. The only thing I could come up with a third
party component to do it. Using a component is out with my webhost. So,
I need to write a script.
