Monitor Problem

My Viewsonic VA721 monitor is suddenly showing small colored
lines or
maybe "shadows" on it.  It is making it very
difficult to read the
words and see pictures.  When and where they show up varies.
 I
downloaded an updated driver and also ran spybot, niether of
which
helped.  Any suggestions?  Is it a virus??  Help!!!

try degaussing it.

There's several variations on your question there.   You can
also
mouse over support and then click on Drivers if you think
that
updating the driver will help.
