I've checked in the XML serialisation code and released it
as ActiveRDF
1.6.9. Thanks again for the initial code, see comments

I know, but I think that's ok.

I've checked and improved datatyped literals in ActiveRDF.
That's where
most of the time went to.

I don't know, since I don't have Jena. If somebody has a
patch, I'm happy
to include it.
