I have two computers that are part of different domains. I
am trying to
send MSMQ messages from one to the other. I get an exception
that tells me
the Message Queue does not exist. This is not true because I
have created
it so I believe it's more of an issue where I don't see it.
The net admin has established some trust relationships
between these
machines to the point where I can ping one machine from the
other and I can
even connect to its C drive by running this command:
"\IP_ADDRESS_OF_THE_OTHER_MACHINEC$".
Does anyone have any idea what else I should be trying? Is
there a test
that I can perform to understand what is going on?
When I try to send the message, I specify the message queue
like this
"IP_ADDRESS_OF_THE_OTHER_MACHINENAME_OF_THE_QUEUE"
;. If the machines are on
the same domain, this works, but it doesn't when the
machines ar eon
different domains.
Any help and/or suggestion will be highly appreciated,
