Connection strings and the MS Enterprise Library Block

I need some help with some installation issues.
I need to be able to change the connection string during an
install.
Currently our application uses the MS Enterprise Library
Block for data
access.
I can change the connection string, but the newly added
connection string is
not picked up by the enterprise library block (or so it
seems).
Is there a way that I can accomplish this?

Any advice or resources would be appreciated.
