Affiliate Marketer with ? re destination url

The destination url i need to use is a lenghty html code
which contains
my affiliate marketer id. How can I insert this into the
destination
url field? I keep getting an error message saying, for
example, that
spaces are not allowed in the url name.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the error message says that spaces are not allowed, then
you have
spaces in the url where none should be. Take them out.

Easiest thing to do is go to the relevant site you're trying
to
advertise, then put your cursor up in the url bar, highlight
the whole
thing, and *copy* it. Then go to where you want to insert
it, and
*paste* it.

I am quite new at the whole adword thing so hope I am right
in this:

you only need the stuff between the inverted commas after
the "href"
bit (not the "src" bit)
