Just though that I should let you know, that the site in
fact gets position
No1 and Position No 2 in Google etc - and has done now for 4
years - for
it's main targeted keyphrase, "Gardening Advice and
Information".

similar success
with all of them - bringing in a total of just over 50m
visitor between

I take on board what you have said about lack of text on the
home page.
However the link 'Content' is far more important in that
particular
instance - as can be seen by the SER.
If I can offer you any help for your own wordpress site, I
would suggest
that you need to start adding 'Description Tags' to your
meta work, and
also, in your title tags, you need to sort out the words in
a better order
of 'relevance'. Think about what a searcher is going to
enter to find the
information they are after.
