Hi unirush Google uses redirects. On clicking an advert you
submit a request
to a Google server that redirects the browser to the URL of
the advert. This
is a very solid way to detect a click. It has the weaknesses
that the
redirection takes some time (typically no more than 10ms or
so) and that if
the redirection server fails, then all clicks lead nowhere -
