I just don't understand Adwords logic. - 3 new

Advertising is sold based on the willingness of each
advertiser to pay for
their ad to be shown for a keyword. One very annoying result
is that if you
search for "iPod" or a restaurant name, you often
see nothing but scammy
offers for "free iPods" and "get a $30 gift
certificate free" and such. While
I don't like those "scammy" advertisers, and while

Wondering if anybody can tell me how to go about stopping
others bidding on
brand terms? I'm currently in the process of getting my
start-up business's
name trademarked, and would like to prevent competitors
bidding on it once

Hi, I set up 2 campaigns on google and 1 campaign is running
just fine with $0.
20 per click, the other however won't even show up in the
search. About how
long does it take until you see your ad, and could my $.20
per click be too
low? Another thing just happened, my first campaign I put
