I read in one place that copper gets rid of toxins. I read a second place that it is toxic. Which is right?

As per Ayurveda, Copper is very good health. Therefore in
ancient
times & in many places still Copper utensils are used to
daily use.
Drinking Water stored in Copper Utensil helps remove
acidity,toxins
from body etc. Only caution needs to be taken is that one
has to
clean/wash these utensils thoroughly regularly atleast once
in a week
if not possible daily. Because with contact in Air,water,
copper forms
many compounds which may be hazardous for body.
