Will you, as a sufferer of hypothyroidism, your friends, relatives and
partner, please sign this VERY important 'Patients Petition' in support of the aim
to urge medical practitioners throughout the world to treat hypothyroid
patients, who do not regain normal health on thyroxine, with combination therapy,
using either synthetic or natural preparations. Dr. Barry Durrant-Peatfield
has called the current diagnostic and treatment protocol "The Great Thyroid
Scandal". This International Thyroid Patients Petition could be the starting
point of a revolution in the attitude within the medical profession towards
the recognition and treatment of this disease. This petition will be used to
lobby governments, medical schools, thyroid organisations, medical boards, the
NHS, GMC, BTA, Endocrinology organisations etc throughout the world.
