We cover many different aspects of alternative health here in this group. There are quite a few areas that we do not cover. We do not cover: Distance healing. Spiritial healing Reiki Colloidal silver Coconut oil Chiropracty Allopathic treatments Acid/alkaline theories Healing machines Liver/kidney cleanses which use laxatives Colonics "Essential" oils And probably a lot of others that I can't think of right now. This group takes no pubic position on the above items. What we do say is that there is so much misinformation in those areas that it isn't worthwhile to try and cover those areas in depth in this group. If you want to discuss those items, there are plenty of groups where you can go to do so. Most people come here wanting more for themselves than really wanting to give. If people come wanting information that is fine. If they really want to come to help provide information altruistically that is fine too, but in the majority of the cases, they really want to promote their webpage, group, book, product, plan, etc. They can't say that directly so they kinda dress up their promotions with "giving" sounding phrases. I have read so many by this point, that the alarm in my head goes off by about the second sentence in their posts. If you want to share what you have discovered about some aspect of alternative health, we will welcome it here. But we expect you to share it in an indepth manner. Explain fairly completely so that the other person understands. No you are not allowed to just post a link to your website for them to read. That isn't really sharing anything with the group, that is just trying to get someone to come to your website. That brings up another thing. If you do not have a signature on your post, you may make casual, small postings. If you have a signature on your postings that means you have another point you are trying to display to the group and you are held to a much higher standard to post. You will have to post something of real value to be able to offset the use of your signature. Another thing,,,,,if you are unhappy with this group, you do not need to tell me. Please feel free to leave and start your own group. That way you can have it exactly the way that pleases you. Just an aside, the ones that complain are the same ones who do nothing but take and then bitch about what they get. They want somebody else to do all of the work free and then give it to them in such a manner that pleases them personally. To them, I suggest that you go to an expert or something and pay to get what you want. That way, there again you will be more likely to receive your demands. Other than that above, welcome to the group. If you will give in the real spirit of giving and sharing you will be welcomed wholeheartedly. Frank
