Michael Gorman to keynote SOFIA 2006

It is my pleasure to announce that ALA President Michael
Gorman will be
the keynote speaker at SOFIA 2006, the fourth in a
successful series of
conferences on Globalization, Digitization, Access, and
Preservation of
Cultural Heritage.   In line with the theme of the
conference, Mr.
Gorman will be presenting "The role of libraries in
access and
preservation of cultural heritage."  Further
