CONFERENCE TOPICS
Day 1 of conference (November 23rd, Friday) will focus on
Library and
Information
Education and Practice (in English):
- LIS Education Trends and Curriculum,
- Accreditation and Collaboration,
- Digital Learning and Knowledge Industry, and
- Regional Cooperation.
Day 2 of conference (November 24th Saturday) will address
issues in
Information and
Communication Studies (in Chinese):
- Media Convergence in Information Age,
- Digital Content and Archives Education Program Design
and
Evaluation, and
- The Cooperative Development on Information and
Communication
Research and Practice.
A visit to the National Library and Taipei City Library
is being
planned for overseas
participants for Day 2 of the conference.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Registration is FREE for INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS who
are
librarians, or library school
faculty provided registration is done by October 15,
2007.
