Position Summary
The Clinical Data Analyst
primarily conducts data analysis on behalf of the firm and will focus on improving
accessibility to clinical data to ensure continued insight into the conduct and
evolution of our clinical trial.
In particular, we are seeking someone who can manage and extract data from a
database system, and who can then draw insights and conclusions from this data
and report their findings in a concise and meaningful way. Utilizing an
in-house database and other spreadsheet and statistical software, they will
collect and analyze clinical data in order to aggregate, synthesize, and share this information with
company management to facilitate informed strategic decisions. Requests for analysis are
answered in a timely manner and delivered to ROX leadership in a way that best
meets the requesters’ needs, including ad hoc tables and statistical
reports, graphic/visual presentations, and narrative documents.
Key Reporting Relationship: Vice President, Clinical
Affairs
Key Working Relationships: The Clinical Data Analyst acts
as resource working closely with the Clinical Trial Manager, Director of
Engineering, Sr. Director of RA/QA/CA, Director of Sales & Marketing, and
Biostatistician providing them with timely access to information for their
respective day-to-day and long-term needs and strategies.
Essential
Requirements of Candidates:
We
are seeking an intelligent, proactive, and responsible professional with the
following attributes:

Bachelor8217;s
degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, computer science, life science, or
related filed. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a strong combination
of life science knowledge and numbers aptitude.

Facility
and experience with off-the-shelf and custom data management software including
Microsoft Excel and Access, SAS products & solutions, and Electronic Data
Capture (EDC).

Awareness
of and adherence to Clinical Data Management regulatory standards.
·
Project
management experience.
·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
