You'll need to do a NAND restore and then you can flash other distros. A quick Google should point you in the direction of where you can download the NAND file for your C700. Che ers,

some time ago I have installed the latest PDAXrom release on my SL-C
700, which replaces the Sharp bootloader with UBoot.
Seems that, for now, I am stuck with
PDAXrom, right ? Or would it be
possible to install Angström anyway ?
