Perforce 2007.3 P4V, P4Merge, and P4SCC now available

Dear Perforce User,

We are pleased to announce the 2007.3 GA release of the P4V,
P4Merge,
and P4SCC client tools.

The Perforce Visual Client, P4V, provides a graphical
interface on
Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD.  P4V includes
a built-in
merge feature and an Administration tool, as well as
Perforce's Revision
Graph and Time-lapse View tools.  The Perforce SCC Plug-in,
P4SCC,
enables you to perform Perforce operations from within IDEs
that
support the Microsoft SCC API.

The 2007.3 visual client tools GA release contains several
new features
and enhancements, including:

    - Improved cross-platform compatibility; libraries have
been upgraded
      to Trolltech's Qt 4.
    - Enhanced performance and reduced memory consumption.
    - A full-featured help viewer with an index, searching
and
      bookmarking capabilities.
    - Customizable columns in the changelist, jobs, users,
branches,
      labels and workspace panes.
    - The Administration tools Access Level filter has been
improved and
      the protections table editor now supports
drag-and-drop operations.
    - Revision Graph has a new menu bar and context menus,
and has been
      enhanced to enable management of custom tools.
    - Numerous bug fixes and customer requests.

The 2007.3 Perforce Visual Clients are compatible with
Perforce Server
releases 2002.2 through 2007.3.  To ensure that you have
access to new
P4V features, install or upgrade to the 2007.3 Perforce
Server.  Some
P4V features are not available with older servers.
