Helix Community Gets New Look & Feel
As a major release of the Helix Community Usability Project,
new user
interface and usability improvements have been successfully
rolled out to
the community last Wednesday, 03/21/2007.
Major upgrades included:
- A redesign of the community home page
- A new top level navigation bar to make content easier to
find
- A new left hand navigation bar
- Site wide breadcrumb navigation
- New & reorganized community content
- A new site wide look and feel
- Site wide URL rewrite to make URL's human readable
About the Usability Project:
The Usability Project is a Helix Community Team's initiative
to improve user
experience in the community. Our next step is to improve
individual page
layouts and speed up loading time. If you have any comments
