Please do not use direct e-mail, please send direct
to the ant-mailing list - or update the bugzilla report
with a ping.

The patch looks fine (check for close and not eof), but I
would defer to Rob to
give it the thumbs up . I do not use the SSH tasks
myself.

Subject: Planned to add sshexec path for ant 1.7.1?
To: peterreillyapache.org

Hallo,

I am having, as others, just the same problem described
here:

http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43092

I can see there was a proposed patch, are there any plans to
include
it in current 1.7.1? That would be great, so I can download
current
snapshot and have it available now (meanwhile official 1.7.1
is
distributed).

I know, in theory, I could apply patch myself and keep on
working with
that local copy. However, my boss does not allow me to do
custom ant
modifications, he wants me to use just the version which
comes out of
the box (however, he can agree downloading subversion
snapshots, if
the change is expected to stay for next official release ...
which is
the case of bug fixes, I presume).

Even maybe, it could be the case that you do not agree
completely with
the patch but have a better option, which fulfills the
quality
standards of Apache projects... have seen it in past ;-}
Either
proposed patch, or your own will be fine for us, the mortal
users.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards,
Dario.

Hi,

I use the SSH tasks on a daily basis and I don't experience
the
behaviour noted in the bug rep.

That said the patch makes sense and I'm just testing now (if
I
experience no problems, I'll commit the change)
