DB 3.04 wxGrid and splitter window bug

In the original for both 3.03 and 3.04 I did use a splitter window.  However, I noticed that I'd done something you didn't say to do, I assigned the Main Window ID in the App.  So I erased everything and redid the project _without_ assigning an ID.  When I did that, I inadvertently clicked on Scrolled instead of Splitter!:-(

 

But, it's immaterial to the outcome.  I had changed the size to 100 and back to 50 and so on.  I just created a new one (splitter for sure this time), and it still worked when I tried 20, 40, 0, 2, etc..  So, I opened your attachment in DB 3.04.  It works fine for me, also.

On doing a diff of your .pjd and mine, the only difference (aside from names) was that I'd chosen a compiler.  It appears you hadn't.  So, I redid it once more.  It worked fine.  Then I diffed that .pjd with yours and they were virtually identical.  The only differences were the names we had chosen and time stamps (it's still the fourth here!;)

So, I don't know what to say.  ;I'm attaching the .pjd once more.  See if you can find a difference.

I tried your project file and I get the same (bad) result as with my project; i.e. the app exits. I have tried rebooting to see if it was some lingering installation problem but no luck.

Must be some sort of platform specific thing. I am using WinXP Pro with service pack 2.

As a work around it is possible to edit the project file manually and set what you want there. It seems to be the action of performing the change that causes the problem, not the value itself. (I thought it was before because I was able to set the row header width to 51 with my project but that may be a red-herring since with the project you sent through I can't safely change it to any value at all).

Oh well, I guess I will see if Julian can reproduce it.
