Hi Julian,
Mabe it's the wrong way I took ...
What I want to achieve is having a scrolled window to display a wxBitmap of
arbitrary size and to scroll to see different portions of the image.
What I done is creating a scrolled window "inside" a vertical box sizer. Than
I mark the scrolled window and try to add another sizer in it. This sizer
finally should contain a panel which I could use as a parent for a wxPaintDC
from within an OnPaint() event function.
But when I try to add the sizer to the scrolled window DB (3.07b SuSE Linux)
goes into closed loop and consumes 100% cpu. Luckily DB doesn't start to
"eat" memory. Ctrl+c from the command line from where DB is started is the
right way to stop it.
Despite from my approach maybe being the wrong one I think the loop shoudn't
happen.
Regards,
Thomas
ps. So far no more crashes due to ctrl+c from within the editor while I'm
playing around with images
