Thread: Automatic generation of accessor functions for a subview

Automatic generation of accessor functions for a subview

Hi!

Schenario:
I make a wxDocParentFrame and wxScrolledWindow inside it.
I assign the "member variable name" to "m_canvas" for the
wxScrolledWindow in the Editor parameter table.
Now, the member "m_canvas" is now inserted in the wxDocParentFrame
header, but no accessor functions are generated.

If I add "m_canvas" as a Variable, the accessor functions are
generated which is very nice. But "m_canvas" is then double declared,
so this does not work.

Is there any way around this?
Could there be added an entry in the Editor for accessor functions
when the member variable name is used for a subview?

Or am I just too lazy?

Bengt

Hi Bengt,

Yes, I'm afraid DialogBlocks doesn't generate accessors automatically for
windows, so for now they should be added manually. I'll consider an option
for generating the accessors.

Thanks,

Julian
