FreeBSD 6.1 ANSI bug?

It works fine now in unicode but when out of curiosity I switch to
ansi compile mode it says this:

Cannot convert from charcest 'US_ASCII'!

It was saying that on startup of DialogBlocks 3.18 but whatever you
did fixed it and now it just says that when I compile in ANSI I'm
guessing you compiled FBSD DB in ansi and then in 3.19 you switched
to unicode? or maybe not but there still is that error in 3.19

it's just that warning and it appears to still work if i ignore that
error box but I didn't test it that much beyond a simple app. And i
plan to mainly use unicode i was just curious why this error appears
on ansi compiled apps.

Hi,

I've never been able to work out why this happens on FreeBSD. The binary
is Unicode though, not ANSI.
