Assuming that development and target machines both have GTK+2 available,
there's no need for a particular Linux - the source code that DB
generates will be happy on any that has GTK+2. However, if the target
Linux doesn't have GTK+2, and can't be persuaded to, then you'd need to
think about wxX11 or wxDFB. So I suppose in this sense the choice of
Linux for your embedded computer could be determined by whether it
supports GTK+2.
I don't know whether Damn Small Linux, Not DSL and Puppy Linux support
GTK+;2 but I would imagine they do.
