This is purely a wxWidgets thing.

Not in a very cross-platform way; see the wxMSW section of the manual
for a brief description of using wxWindow::RegisterHotKey to handle buttons.
It's very Windows CE-ish and we could do with a more general way
of handling buttons. Any input on this will be appreciated.
