Please tell us:
- Which version of apache you are trying to compile.
- On what OS you are trying to compile.
- What compiler you are using.
- What options you gave the "configure" command.

Looks like APR_HAVE_PTHREAD_H is not set, and it's all
pear-shaped  
from there.  This should not happen as it is defined in
include/ 
apr.h, which is generated from include/apr.h.in by
./configure.

To re-ask Krist's questions, which platform, which C
compiler and  
what were the arguments you gave to ./configure?
