Summary: Workflow is lost when moving a document
Product: Lenya
Version: Trunk
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Workflow
AssignedTo: dev lenya.apache.org
ReportedBy: josias.thoeny wyona.org
When a document is moved from one area to another (e.g. when
a document is
deleted or archived), the workflow information gets removed
from the metadata.
Is seems to be related to commit 447411.
The reason for not copying workflow metadata is the
following (according to
Andreas):
"the reason was that a new document which is a copy of
an existing one
but has a different UUID/language should not start with the
same
workflow history, but get a clean one."
However, it shouldn't affect moving documents.
How to reproduce:
- go to site area
- delete a document
- it cannot be restored anymore:
the menu option to restore the document is disabled
('workflow event cannot be invoked')
