DO NOT REPLY - Order not preserved in live

please, can some senior lenya developer take a look at this
asap? this
is a total blocker with no workaround in sight.

we urgently need to get the semantics of sitetree changes
straight, and
it looks like it's non-trivial.

imho, every sitetree change in authoring (nudge, cut, paste)
should be
immediately reflected in live. documents should not change
their
"published" status if they are moved, since the
review state of a
document depends on the quality of the content, not the
position in the
sitetree.

regards,

jörn

From SiteTree's javadocs

the new node will be inserted.
