You can either define different resource types, but this
makes sense
only if you want to use different XML schemas.

Here's some documentation about resource types:

If you just want different XHTML layouts, you can add
multiple
<sample-name> elements to the resource type
declaration. Then you can
choose a sample on the "Create" page.

Hi,
I have tried to create a custom resource type using
following link.
     http://lenya.apache.org/docs/1_2_x/how-to/cust
om_resourcetype.html
But when i try to create a document i got an error msg
   "The requested document '/test11.html' with
document-id '/test11' does 
not exist."
although an xml document with same id is created in
content/authoring 
section but its not displayed.
I guess i am very close and you guys could make me more
closer thanks for 
your help.
