Summary: A new created publication uses the
access-control of the
default publication
Product: Lenya
Version: 2.0
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Access Control
AssignedTo: dev lenya.apache.org
ReportedBy: rudolf.korhummel uniklinik-freiburg.de
In the access-control.xml file of new created publication
the directory
parameter of the policy-manager and accreditable-manager
link to the default
publication. This is because the default Instantiator.java
copies the
access-control.xml file form the default publication to the
new publication.

I applied the patch and it works for me.
Often, but not allways I have to login a second time on the
new created
publication. I see this effect only when
copyAccreditables=true and I never saw
it at the default publication.

This is strange, actually you should always be required to
log in again, because
your credentials shouldn't be accepted by the newly created
publication. Do you
see a chance to find out in which circumstances you're not
required to log in again?

I hope I can work it out.
The Tests last friday shows, that the second login mainly
occures when I've
logged in at the new createt publication and I click on
admin menu. But there
were seldom cases where this didn't happen. Maybe it depends
if there was a
login before to another publication. I'll try today.
