The problem I see is that the user certainly expects to get
a completely
usable product when downloading the binaries. With Lenya,
this is not
the case - you just get a little showcase application, but
can't do any
serious work with it. As soon as you want to develop your
own
publication, you need the source version.
IMO we should create a roadmap to overcome this issue:
1. Release only the source version for the moment
2. Re-design our build process to allow deploying
pubs+modules in the
binary version, i.e. separate the Lenya compilation
process from the
pub/module deployment process
