Hi Lenya devs,

maybe you noticed that I have started some prototyping to
port our
website to Lenya 2.0 (http://lenya
.zones.apache.org:9999/docu/). Though
I made some progress, there are some open issues, mainly of

administrative nature.

Thorsten suggested that we do an IRC session on this topic.
IMO this is
a very good idea. If you're interested in participating,
please suggest
a time.

For me, every day+time is fine except the weekends and Jan.
10 and 22.

old europe :-D
hope you can make it.
next time, speak up a little earlier and we might be able to
find a
friendlier time-of-day.

sorry, couldn't make it earlier. was busy with a remote
update of a
client's office server (from opensuse 10.2 to two fully
virtualized 10.3
xen instances, without local access), and i botched some
things that
took a few hours to fix. looks like there's nobody there
anymore... you
know how it goes. the amount of headache during an update
is
proportional to the square of the distance to the
machine...

i'll try and hang around tomorrow...

best,

jörn

Why set Lenya's revision history length to 0 (i.e. no
backups)? Just
to save disk space?

Also, will there be e-mail notification to the dev mailing
list
whenever somebody publishes a change? (I hope so)
