| Please test the docu publication |

Hi Lenya devs,
since the docu publication now runs with mod_proxy and SSL,
we can start
testing and editing. To create your account,
* Add your .iml file to the passwd directory in SVN [1]
* Log in to the zones server
* svn up
~/src/lenya-sandbox/pubs/docu/config/access-control/passwd/
* cd ~/src/lenya-trunk-docu/
* ./build.sh
Now you should be able to log in to the authoring area [2].
All tests are greatly appreciated. TIA!

I will give it a try, but it has been a busy week and I'm
leaving for
Easter break tomorrow evening. I probably won't have a
chance to look at
it until mid next week.

fine with me.
remind me again - how was the updating of svn docu going to
happen? via
an external server?
i promised to do an rsync for backup purposes - is the
lenya content
repository for the doc pub at its final location?

ok, i did a first backup. will make a daily cronjob out of
it.
it's currently running off my personal account. as soon as i
find time,
i will move it to a special lenya account and hand the
password over to
the pmc and whoever else wants it.
andreas, is there still a need for a dedicated virtual
machine for the
lenya project on my box? how did we decide to solve the svn
commit issue?
and could you please check the pub content path in the log
excerpt
below? am i pulling the correct tree?

I should login as user lenya, right? Sorry but i forgot (or
did never
know) the password. Can you give it to me somehow?

I will, but before Easter vacation I am too busy
unfortunately

I would suggest to wait some more days (for example until
end of next week)

I had a look a the docu pub - everything worked fine; I was
hesitating
to fully test though (might bring a bit of unorder to the
existing
content). If that's ok I'll give it another test run.
The only thing I was missing is the "insert link"
and "insert image"
buttons in the source editor - but copying over the link
destination
shouldn't be to big a problem either.

I did a bit of testing today (sorry, that this took so
long).
I tried to insert another image in the screenshots page.
A few things seem strange to me - but that might as well be
because I
don't know enough about the setup yet:
- The assets have no title and are without width / height
attributes
(might be because they werde not uploaded but migrated from
the
forrest doc)
- I uploaded an asset (tinymce screenshot), when I tried to
change the
visibility in the navigation an error occured:
"Exception during commit or rollback:
org.apache.xerces.impl.io.MalformedByteSequenceException:
Invalid byte
1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence. (see logfiles for
details)"
- The assets all have "visitble in navigation" set
to "yes" still they
are invisible (a trick?)
- The part I couldn't figure out was inserting an image with
the
source editor: The image tag looked like this (see code in
the now
somewhat broken screenshots page):
<img src="https://lenya.zones.a
pache.org/cms/docu/authoring/images/screenshots/screenshot-t
inymce.jpg
" title="screenshot tinymce"
alt="screenshot tinymce" width="799"
height="715"/>. No UUID kinda link :-( ; saving
this, the validation
step complains about a title attribute in the wrong place.
- The insert image screen was kinda broken when I opened it:
only half
of the thumbnails were displayed in it - is this
reproducable be
someone else ?
Thanks for all the work and have a nice weekend!
Jürgen
