Don't we already use CSS for everything? (If no, why not?)
Google's color schemes tend to be light and disappear on
bright LCD monitors.
The YAML website is very dark.
Are you referring to formatting engines rather than the
specific color
schemes? Isn't Lenya a formatting engine?
