Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
devlenya.apache.org mailing list.

Messages to you from the dev mailing list seem to
have been bouncing. I've attached a copy of the first
bounce
message I received.

If this message bounces too, I will send you a probe. If the
probe bounces,
I will remove your address from the dev mailing list,
without further notice.

I've kept a list of which messages from the dev mailing list
have
bounced from your address.

Copies of these messages may be in the archive.
To retrieve a set of messages 123-145 (a maximum of 100 per
request),
send a short message to:
   <dev-get.123_145lenya.apache.org>

To receive a subject and author list for the last 100 or so
messages,
send a short message to:
   <dev-indexlenya.apache.org>

Here are the message numbers:

   24274
   24273
   24275
   24276
   24277

Hi Lenya devs,

the question is about determining the name of the author of
a document,
e.g. for inclusion in RSS feeds.

At the moment, the user ID is stored in the dc:creator meta
data field.
This allows to determine the full name, but only if the user
still
exists. If the user has been deleted from the system, there
is no way to
find out her name.

IMO we have to store both values, the user ID of the
original creator
(for internal purposes) and the full name (to be displayed).
IMO the
dc:creator field should contain the full name to make
rendering as
straightforward as possible. That would mean we'd have to
introduce a
new field for the user ID of the creator, probably as part
of the
http://
apache.org/lenya/metadata/document/1.0 meta data.

WDYT?
