I have briefly looked at the source for this and it appears
that it
deals with the time spent on the bug as a whole. This is
more a-kin
to the way that custom fields work.
My time tracker allows you to assign a unit of time to a
bugnote.
ie I spent 2 hours on doing that piece of work.
The idea is that you can work out how much time was spent on
a
particular bug. Most people have found that the results are
quite
surprising. There is stuff in there to total up the times
spent on
a particular bug between a particular time frame thus
helping with
billing. I plan on thinking about a flexible costing
solution based
on project/person/whatever.
