Ryan McKinley updated SOLR-139:
-------------------------------
Attachment: SOLR-139-IndexDocumentCommand.patch
* Updated to work with trunk.
* moved MODE enum to common
This could be added without affecting any call to the
XmlUpdateHandler -- (for now) this only works with the
StaxUpdateHandler. Adding it will help clarify some of the
DocumentBuilder needs/issues...
> Support updateable/modifiable documents

> It would be nice to be able to update some fields on a
document without having to insert the entire document.
> Given the way lucene is structured, (for now) one can
only modify stored fields.
> While we are at it, we can support incrementing an
existing value - I think this only makes sense for numbers.
